What the app does

Scan, on-device text recognition, and saving a note are free. Your first 3 screenshot clears are free; after that, clearing unlocks with a one-time purchase. You confirm every clear. The image goes to Recently Deleted in the Photos app. The note stays. DumpPixels does not empty Recently Deleted for you.

What we access

Photos. The app uses PhotoKit on your device to list screenshots and, after you confirm, to move a screenshot you chose into Recently Deleted. Text recognition runs on-device.

What we do not do

• No account
• No sign-in
• No upload of your photos or notes
• No cloud OCR
• No tracking
• No advertising
• No selling of data
• No location used for ads
• No auto-delete
• No “AI summary” that rewrites your text

Recognition happens on-device. Nothing is sent to a DumpPixels server. There is no DumpPixels server for your library or notes.

If iCloud Photos is on, a delete you confirm applies across that iCloud library the way Photos already works. That is Apple’s sync, not an upload by DumpPixels.

Data we collect

DumpPixels uses TelemetryDeck for anonymous usage analytics. There is no tracking across apps, and no personal or identifying data is collected. Photos, notes, and job data stay on your device and are never sent to TelemetryDeck.

DumpPixels does not collect, store, or transmit your photo library or notes off the device. Notes you save live on the device. There is no user profile and no server-side copy.

Apple may receive standard App Store and In-App Purchase information when you buy Unlock Clear. That is Apple’s purchase system, not DumpPixels storing payment details.

Children

DumpPixels is rated 4+. It does not target children and does not collect personal data.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above will change. Because there is no account, there is no email notice.
